Modernised test approach for fast evolving payments infrastructure:
A strategic objective
Payments are moving towards a more constant, cyclical state of innovation with increasing complexity. Where payment infrastructures may have been refreshed every decade or more, in the future incremental changes will need to be supported far more regularly, alongside wholesale upgrades to keep up with the pace of changes in regulation and technology. Payment infrastructure providers require modernized test strategies that support innovation, value-added services and increasing numbers of participants.
The most successful infrastructure programs will recognize the new normal: Continuous test cycles leveraging automation and efficient, independent participant testing as a strategic objective.
