Payments Consultant for Customer Projects
We are looking for a payments consultant
to work on international customer projects. Projects involve technical analysis, cutting edge communication, smooth programming and freedom to deliver in a way logical to you.
You will be
part of
a small, focused team who has built their own product. You
can give your own input to
tak
e
the product to
the next level and
will
have a close view of how the international business around it evolves.
We at XMLdation have a vision to create a unique community and toolset between corporates, fintech companies and financial service providers that helps them share information and build integrations faster. Our aim is to make the development and testing of financial message transactions, such as ISO 20022 XML, JSON-APIs and others, easier and faster than ever before. Currently, we have more than 20 of the world’s leading banks making sure their payments run smoothly with our SaaS service, and we want to make a further dent in the fintech space. We want you to join this journey with us.
Our head office is in Finland, and we have offices in Ireland,
France
and Canada. You will probably work remotely, handling a number of clients at the same time. You will travel to visit our clients in Europe
and North-America
, and possibly further afield.

What we expect from you in this role:
- Payments domain knowledge
- Ability to do analysis of technical specifications relating to payments products from clients
- Able and happy to work with technical details
- Excellent communication skills
- Preparation and testing of product customization based on the specifications
- Participation in workshops with clients
You may have worked for a bank, or for a software vendor or SaaS provider that delivers solutions to banks. It will be helpful if you know about some of the following topics : traditional transaction banking products
,
disruption in payments, real time and instant payments,
or
PSD2
/Open banking
Y
ou will need to be comfortable working with XML
, SWIFT MT
and JSON, will have rules authoring skills,
pay attention to detail
and will be able to organise projects clearly and carefully.
